Even portable cage systems are difficult to store and nets can easily become damaged when they are being moved.	The Radford Ezy Net System is incredably easy to errect/dismantle thus making them very portable and easy to store - see the videos below!
The cricket nets are left out and are vulnerable to the elements and vandals. They quickly become untidy and soon need maintenance work carried out.	High security vandal resistent boxes mean that the cricket nets are stored safely and are protected from the elements. This keeps them looking new and in better condition much, much longer.
"Health & Safety" issues faced when balls struck by the batsman ricochet off the many poles/metal sections (holding up the caged system) into the bowlers path causing injury.	Less poles make the batsman feel less enclosed and minimizes the risk to the bowler and batsmen of ricohets.
We understand the issues spinners face when attempting to give "flight" to a cricket ball - cage systems do not allow this, balls end up being stuck in/on the roof net.	Unlike cage systems there is no need for bars and netting over the top of the cricket nets. Why make players practice in an environment that just isn't suitable.
Batsmen and bowlers can’t wear studs and must practice in trainers or other sports shoes. This footwear is not designed for cricket and lacks support in vital areas.	Unlike many cricket net systems the unique surface that we use allows players to wear their studs as they would do during a match.
Difficult to maintain the area around the nets. Often the nets are accidentally damaged by strimmers and mowers.	Because the cricket nets are fully retractable it is easy to keep the area around the nets well maintained.
The area that the cricket nets are situated in becomes completely taken over and cant be used for other sports or activities.	Because our cricket net system does not need to remain in place perminantly, the area can be used for other activities without any effort.
Cricket net systems are an important and essential piece of equipment. The only place where cricket can be coached properly is in the nets. Poles simply slip out of their sockets and can be stored away. The sockets are capped and the area is free of netting and available for other activities.

The simplicity with which nets can be erected or stored is a boon to groundsmen, whose task of mowing, rolling and covering the wickets is made easier with the nets tucked safely out of the way.

The nets look similar to traditional cricket nets but are strung out along a tensioned wire cable, supported by posts and sockets. In use they perform like the traditional nets, but the tensioned - no sag design gives them an added safety factor.
