Radford Ezy Net was established by ex-Worcestershire and England cricketer, Neal Radford, in 1993, whilst he was still playing First Class Cricket. Having travelled the cricket globe, Neal saw a gap in the market for a cricket net system that was not static and permanently in situ and would make the groundsman's/caretaker's job easier and less time consuming. Also, critically, it ensures longevity with regard to the financial spend in netting!

Today, Radford™ Ezy Net™ designs and builds cricket net systems to suit clients needs, from test grounds to private homes where thousands of systems have been installed across the UK and as far afield as the Caribbean.

Traditional Cricket Nets We have all seen them - quite often not looking their best and not a great environment for players and coaches to practice in.	The Radford Ezy Net System What makes the Radford Ezy Net System different from the others and why did the ICC chose us as the supplier to the Cricket World Cup?
Even portable cage systems are difficult to store and nets can easily become damaged when they are being moved.	The Radford Ezy Net System is incredably easy to errect/dismantle thus making them very portable and easy to store - see the videos below!
The nets are left out and are vulnerable to the elements and vandals. They quickly become untidy and soon need maintenance work carried out.	High security vandal resistent boxes mean that the nets are stored safely and are protected from the elements. This keeps them looking new and in better condition much, much longer.
"Health & Safety" issues faced when balls struck by the batsman ricochet off the many poles/metal sections (holding up the caged system) into the bowlers path causing injury.	Less poles make the batsman feel less enclosed and minimizes the risk to the bowler and batsmen of ricohets.
We understand the issues spinners face when attempting to give "flight" to a cricket ball - cage systems do not allow this, balls end up being stuck in/on the roof net.	Unlike cage systems there is no need for bars and netting over the top of the nets. Why make players practice in an environment that just isn't suitable.
Batsmen and bowlers can’t wear studs and must practice in trainers or other sports shoes. This footwear is not designed for cricket and lacks support in vital areas.	Unlike many nettting systems the unique surface that we use allows players to wear their studs as they would do during a match.
Difficult to maintain the area around the nets. Often the nets are accidentally damaged by strimmers and mowers.	Because the nets are fully retractable it is easy to keep the area around the nets well maintained.
The area that the nets are situated in becomes completely taken over and cant be used for other sports or activities.	Because our neeting system does not need to remain in place perminantly, the area can be used for other activities without any effort.

due to a socketed system, a number of lanes can be set up in minutes, being easy to erect/dismantle (i.e. that means you do NOT have to have nets up permanently, exposing them to the elements and potential vandalism)
