We’re pleased to announce that our world class nets and pitches have been chosen to help build the new outdoor practice facilities for Uphill Castle Cricket Club, a project that came to fruition thanks to grants from the Tony Coles Trust and Viridor Credits.

According to the Weston Mercury, Somerset cricket star Peter Trego was on hand to officially open the new facilities, while the chairman of the Somerset Cricket Board was also there to support the event.

Trego was quoted by the news source as saying: “The pace and bounce of the pitches is very similar to that of the all-grass pitches used in matches, which obviously better for practising on than most other types of artificial surface.”

As you can see, the quality of our products is second to none and can really serve to upgrade your cricket club facilities perfectly. We have a wide range of products available on our website, whether you’re looking for stumps, mobile or indoor nets, scoreboards, sports surfaces, safety cushioning or more.

Our cricket net system is incredibly easy to erect and dismantle, so you’ll spend more time actually playing cricket and less time messing around with fiddly equipment. What’s more, they come with high security vandal-resistant boxes so that nets can be stored away safely and protected from the great British weather, which means they’ll last longer and stay in good condition.

In addition, you and your players will be able to take advantage of fewer poles, which means the batsman will feel less enclosed and any risk of ricochets to either batter or bowler will be minimised.
